Born in 1977 in Artvin, he graduated from Karadeniz Technical University (KTÜ) Faculty of Medicine in 2001 and earned his specialty title in Neurosurgery in 2009 at Bakırköy Prof. Dr. Mazhar Osman Mental Health and Neurological Diseases Training and Research Hospital.

He obtained his associate professorship at the same hospital in 2016. He voluntarily joined the team at Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital to help establish the Neurosurgery Clinic and was appointed as a full professor in 2022.

Between September 2023 and July 2025, he worked at Medicana Ataköy Hospital, after which he opened his private clinic. He continues to practice at his own clinic in Ataköy Towers.

He is married and has two children. He enjoys painting, has a keen interest in children’s literature, and has published ten children’s stories. He also plays the bağlama.
